5 Things You Should Know Before Remodeling Your Kitchen

Get The Pros Involved

A kitchen remodel is no small task. So before you go to any showroom we recommend hiring a kitchen designer to make sure you don’t overlook any details in the process.

Figure Out The Costs

Visualizing your new kitchen is the fun part but when you actually sit down and look at the budget you can quickly see that small things really do add up. Do you really need that wine fridge?

Consider Organization

It’s easy to get caught up in the design and appearance of a kitchen but don’t forget that the whole purpose of a kitchen is organization. Make sure you have the right drawers in the right place for your particular cooking work flow. There is a lot of interesting technology now, like roll out trays and shelves.

Make Sure You Have A Good Hood

This is one thing you should not go cheap on. A good hood exhausts dangerous gases like carbon monoxide and also gets rid of bad odors. You don’t want guests walking in a smelling last weeks meal.

Drawer Dishwashers

These are really cool and we highly recommend them if you’re the type of person that frequently does small loads.

Have a Theme

Each contribution is paired with images of the designer’s work to illustrate the principles being discussed, generously annotated with informative captions. Unique in the quality of its contributors, INTERIOR DESIGN MASTER CLASS is a book that readers will refer to again and again for advice and inspiration, and is an invaluable resource for practical tips and thought-provoking design.

Dellatore will be joined Heritage Texas Properties President & CEO, Robin K. Mueck to discuss the creation of the book and taking the audience through their own Master Class! The discussion will begin at 11:30 AM in the Bunch & Shoemaker Showroom 152 followed by a book signing.
