Prior to opening its doors to the general public, the HOUSTON DESIGN CENTER ANNUAL DESIGNER SAMPLE SALE welcomes industry professionals to a special trade preview event on Thursday, August 25, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Throughout the day, design and decorative professionals, interior designers, industry partners, architects, manufacturers and builders will enjoy unprecedented savings on floor samples, antiques, art, accessories, lighting, rugs, residential and commercial furniture and more. The HOUSTON DESIGN CENTER ANNUAL DESIGNER SAMPLE SALE’s participating showrooms and designers include Bunch & Shoemaker, Charlotte Nail Antiques, Design House, Inc., Jann Wisdom Designs, Johnson Simon Resources, Lighting Treasures, Pride of Persia Rug Company, Postmodern Traditions, Scene One Interiors, Teri Pugh Studio, and other top merchants.
The HOUSTON DESIGN CENTER ANNUAL DESIGNER SAMPLE SALE’s preview begins with a “meet and greet” reception at 9:30 a.m. with business consultant and life coach, Angela Merola. Immediately following the reception, Merola presents “Play Your Genius Out: How to Thrive Creatively and Run Your Business,” a CEU sharing techniques to access personal creativity to increase business success.
A second CEU, “5 Steps to Attracting Your Perfect Clients,” begins at 10:45 a.m. Both CEUs are accredited for IDCEC, IIDA, IDA and ASID, and cost $40 each; space is limited. Advance registration is available at www.thehoustondesigncenter.com/trade.
The HOUSTON DESIGN CENTER ANNUAL DESIGNER SAMPLE SALE opens to the public beginning Friday, August 25 and runs through Sunday, August 27.
